This past weekend, Cold Lake Bus Lines took in one of Canada’s BIGGEST military air shows! This year’s show celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and despite the cancellation of Saturday’s flying due to smoke and poor visibility, the Cold Lake Air Show did not disappoint.

Cold Lake Bus Lines provided 12 school buses as runway markers during the show and were also proud sponsors of the annual event.

The weekend featured thrilling demonstrations from the Italian Air Force’s Frecce Tricolori “Aeronautica Militare”, CF-18 Hornets, P 51 Mustang, C 17 Globemaster, a Search and Rescue Helicopter, F 35 Lightning and a Lancaster Bomber – one of only two in the world.

The Cold Lake Bus Lines crew had VIP tickets for Sunday, and they enjoyed a wonderful day full of friends, flying, awesome displays and some great food and drinks.

Attending the event were Karla Churko and son Kameron Churko, Janine Barnes and boyfriend Kevin Slack, Jennifer Bannon and friend Tabrina, Andre Beauchamp and wife Lynn, Mihaela Cogalniceanu and husband Peter, and Kayla Lindley Scott and husband Jonallen.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see some tremendous aerial entertainment!
